Parkwood’s core businesses are in property development and investment following the divestment of its steel business due to the volatile nature of the steel business. The divestment concurrently allows Parkwood to centre its attention on the property sector, fully capitalising on the ample opportunities that surface within the sector by harnessing the capabilities and expertise of its senior management team. This group of talented employees’ track record speaks for itself, with a string of successfully implemented property related projects both locally and overseas under the LGB Group, such as but not limited to, The Greens, the well-known luxury condominium development in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur and Menara LGB, which is the adjacent Grade ‘A’ office tower block. These two projects received the prestigious FIABCI Malaysia Property Award in 2018 under the residential category and in 2016 under the office category respectively.
